Avery Smith has been in the animal field for the past 7 years. Avery feels he has a passion and deep connection with animals that began at a very young age, with pets of his own. After school, he decided to follow his passions and began working in the animal care field. He started working at Anderson Animal Shelter, and learned many valuable things about the animal care field. He then became a kennel supervisor, and was further interested in learning about animal medicine. His strong desire to help animals be as healthy and happy as possible only grew from that position. He eventually left Anderson Animal Shelter, but his passion for animals and desire to learn more about animal medicine remained. He joined the team at South Town eager to learn, and is very happy being a part of the team.
