Erica has known she wanted to work with animals since her sophomore year in high school when she became part of a team at a private grooming salon. She found she loved working with the dogs, cats, and pet parents that came in and loved it even more when they left feeling their best. She worked as both a pet groomer and a small pet care specialist while studying for her Biology degree at Judson University.
After graduating, Erica took a short break to help with family and then was warmly welcomed into the South Town family. She is very grateful to have this opportunity to work with both pets and their owners in order to help educate, encourage, and maintain a healthy life. Throughout this experience she has realized that one of the reasons she chose to work in the animal field is to help give a voice to animals in need.
Erica is always eager to listen and learn all the information she can in this field of study! Her latest endeavors include the start of Veterinary Technician training. In her spare time, Erica enjoys playing her flute and violin, reading very long books, and spending time with her hilarious family, including their ornery, orange cat Freckles.
